Bouquet toss/garter at the beginning of reception?

I am actually changing 3 times on my wedding day (Vietnamese custom) my first dress is my normal wedding dress, then I change into a Vietnamese ao dai and then a third dress that I dance in. Should I do the garter toss and bouquet toss in the beginning of the reception before I change? Would that be weird?

If it is part of first outfit you are wearing then by all means do it when ever you think is right.
Reply:No, that wouldn't be weird.

I am sure people wouldn't even notice.
Reply:I would do it at the beginning before the first costume change ;-).

Have fun!!!!!!!
Reply:Why do it at the beginning? I usually like to schedule the tosses right before the dancing because it get's the single folks up out of their seats ready for dancing. I think you can save the tosses for later but have your toasts and cake cutting in your first or second dress.
