I am renewing my wedding vows this weekend, should i be carrying a bouquet?

I just planned a very casual ceremony on the beach as a surpise to my husband for our anniversary and so far i have just booked the ceremony and have done nothing else. Should I be doing more?

I am renewing my wedding vows this weekend, should i be carrying a bouquet?
I believe casual is all it takes.. and to choose the beach at sunset is very romanic.. but that doesn't mean you can't carry some flowers.. or compromise. you don't need a bouquet of flowers but with this romatic setting you should definitely wear an exotic flower in your hair... even should your hair be short.. or fasten an exotic flower on the dress you plan to wear for this romantic renewal of the wedding vows.. that shows great love still is alive between the two of you and you have a romantic streak for having chosen to do this and the setting just screams if not for a bouquet of flower which would be great but at least wear an exotic flower , preferably in your hair...for the occasion..xx I would leave it casual but perhaps both of you.. you and your husband could write down some personal vow you each want to make in front of each other .. that would be a very good idea and as you have been married and know each other well enough you will find the right words to say to your husband ...why you are still in love with him and integrate that into your vows and he should do the same for you.. that would be very personal and very romantic.. other that I would leave it casual....as the main thing on this day will be showing your love to your husband by renewing the wedding vows and the same goes for him.. all the other things you had them at the original wedding just make this a day to be remembered forever between the two of you... that is the most imporant.. and show each other how much you still care about one another.. and wear the exotic flower... That's a MUST.. if you don't want a bouquet.. but if on a beach the flower or flowers should be exotic.. to match the setting ..and defintely make someone take nice photos to keep forever....as a memento of this special occasion...

Lots of luck for still being in love and for staying in love forevermore...xx
Reply:The bouquet sounds like a great idea and a single flower works too! If you are doing it on a beach you can try sand in a special jar with a cover.

Take two color sands (available at a hobbies place) and one person puts one color in and the other person put another color in symbolizing your continued love for each other. Now if there are children involved they can put different sands in the jar too! Say a simple prayer when you pour the sand for the ceremony. Cover it and take it home and put it in a place of show and tell and let it remind you of your togetherness, time till eternity, love, mixing of two individuals, and the bond that makes you happy.
Reply:No, you don't need to carry a bouquet. Tasteful is simplicity. If you're doing a beach affair, try just adding one large flower in your hair or behind your ear, or a wrist corsage. It looks better and will look good in photos as well. I have seen a single white rose carried by the bride, but your hands should be free to hold onto your mates'. Bless and many happy returns!!
Reply:It is your ceremony do what you believe your husband would like the most! GOD BLESS YOU!
Reply:That's all optional. Not a requirement.
