How do I dry out/preserve my wedding bouquet?
You need to start by hanging the flowers up side down in a dry area for a few weeks or until the flowers dry. Next, go down to your local arts and crafts store and buy a can of spray made for this sort of thing- I do not know the type or brand name. Just tell the person what you want to use it for and they will know. Then, go home and spay the flowers. Easy! Another thought is to have them bronzed it will cost you, but a least they will be around forever.
Reply:hang them up side down
Reply:Hang upside down in a cool, dry, dark room. I never sprayed anything on.
Reply:Didn't you toss that to your bridesmaids?

I like the silica idea. There are companies that will freeze-dry a bouquet for a fee - that's the best way to do it to preserve the beauty of the flowers.
Reply:Spray a ton of good holding hairspray on it. then hang it upside down. it should stay nice and fresh =)
Reply:Hang it upside down in a dry, dark place. You can place paper over it loosely to keep dust away.
