Are ranunculi good flowers for a bouquet?

I would like for my bridesmaid to carry a bouquet of ranunculas'. How do these flowers hold up in the heat? Are these good flowers to have in the summer time? Are they in season during the summer time - July?

Are ranunculi good flowers for a bouquet?
They are a spring item and as soon as the heat comes, they are gone literally overnight. Keep that in mind if you are ordering them for late May and have a second choice flower in mind. Prime availability is February through April with limited availability in December, January and early May.

You can always ask your florist to use professional quality silks and mix in a few silk ranunculus into the bouquets. I had that done with mine and it looked lovely. Nobody could tell they were artificial until they touched them.
