For those who picked songs for bouquet toss or any other event?

How long does the event last compared to the song? For example, most bouquet tosses are over in under 2 mins while many of the songs suggested for them are over 3 mins. Same for garter removal/toss, cake cutting, etc.

For those who picked songs for bouquet toss or any other event?
I would say that is about right. The DJ or band will just fade the music out or keep playing music to allow time for pictures and what not.

Truthfully I don't even remeber what happend....I was having too much fun.
Reply:the dj cuts the song so that it only lasts as long as the event
Reply:Try using a song that everyone knows... they will not miss the ending of the song, and it can be played underneath the entire event. think enhancement, rather than overtone. I'm using something sweet, like "Going to the Chapel". cute, not artsy, and the girls will love it. try the same thing for the other events, but keep the music low and try to use something sentimental if possible
Reply:The DJ will know when to fade out the song. The song generally plays from the time the event is announced until it's time for the next one to start. So the bouquet toss would fade into the garter toss song, etc.
Reply:The DJ will usually time everything right...if it doesn't last as long as the event then the music just fades out. It's not a big deal...and in all the excitement of the girls fighting to get the bouquet no one notices :)
