I receive flowers from my boyfriend who is in the Army and currently deployed. I have tried drying a few of the flowers from my first 3 bouquets. But the last few because of the weather and humidity haven't turned out so well. These flowers mean a ton and more to me and I would love to be able to save some from each bouquet. A friend told me to put them in vinegar in a closed jar. She was not sure if that was all you put in it or not. If anyone knows how to do this I would really appreciate any help given!! Thanks!
How can I save flowers from a bouquet?
there is a silicone white sandy powder you can get at Michael's or JoAnn's///// place the flowers in a box or
something that has a lip and gently pour the sand over
them and leave them for a few days
Reply:Why not hang them upside down 'til dry? Some will look horrid, and some will do fine. When they're completely dry break each one up into petals. Put them in a really pretty glass jar. Potpourri! You can add essential oils to them. They will keep forever.
Reply:To save them, put them in a vase with a little bit of sugar. (bout a tsp or two) and make sure the stems are cut in a slant.
