dated in 1936? The few I read, is the sad story that a year after the picture with Stalin was taken, her parents were accused of spying and murdered...is a sad story..but anybody knows what happened with her? Is she still alive?
Anybody knows what has become of Gelya Markizova the little girl giving a bouquet to Stalin in a picture?
I saw an interview with her on a Stalin bio. on the History Channel. I have no idea how old the documentary was but at the time she appeared as a woman of 60sh (my best but probably lousy guess). She recounted that about a week after the picture, her father was arrested and though he was sure it would be cleared up, she never saw him again. I think that she and her mother were subjected to the usual hardships that accompanied arrests like these, they were at least not killed and were spared the gulag.

Where can I buy a cheap bouquet for my daughter to play with?
My 7 year old daughter likes to play dress up, she's got a brides outfit and wants a bouquet or posy. I've looked on E bay but can't find one for less than a fiver plus postage, does anyone know where I could buy a cheap aritificial bouquet?
Many thanks

Wilkinson sell fake flowers. I think they are 49p for one.
But they do different types and different colours, so you could take your daughter there and let her choose 5 flowers and tie them together with a pretty piece of ribbon, and there is your bouquet of flowers! All of which she likes because she hand picked them!
Reply:Buy some artificial flowers from one these £1 shops and tie together with ribbon to make a DIY posy that's what I did for my daughter.
Reply:You can go to the dollar tree and get some flowers and make one.
Reply:look in second hand shops places like that hope you find one
Reply:Try the 2nd hand/charity shops in your town centre... there are loads in the ones here...
Reply:Why don't you have a look in your local charity shops, or your local market? You might be able to pick up a few silk flowers and put together a little bouquet yourself.
Reply:If you go to the dollar store or wal-mart, they have really nice silk-like flowers. Throw in some ivy, wrap the whole thing in some ribbon at the base (all found at the dollar store!!) You got yourself a cute bouquet... for probably less than $5.
We did this at the bridal shop i worked at so a girl can get "the total look"
Reply:If you have a local craft store, you can get some very realistic looking flowers to tie into a bouquet. Check out the clearance rack for some real deals!
For the stems, you can wrap them in medical or electical tape (to cover the wires) then use a hot glue gun to put some ribbon over top of that. You could even make this a 'project' that she could help with.
Another option, check with your local florist or bridal shop. Often they have old sample bouquets around that they'd be willing to get rid of for just a few bucks (if not free).
Reply:try e.bay
Reply:Why don't you buy some artificial flowers %26amp; make one yourself. She might even enjoy doing it with you.
Reply:Try joining ur local Freecycle group http://www.uk.freecycle.org/
Everything goes for free! With the aim of recycling rather than dumping!
U wouldnt believe what u can get for nothing!
I just gave away a couch, table, cockery today!
Reply:can buy bunch's of artificial flowers at the pound shop and cut the stems and wrap ribbon around to secure it that way your Little girl can choose her colours good luck
Many thanks

Reply:I learned this in speech class in high school. There are a number of words that do have two (maybe three) acceptable ways to pronounce them. It's about dialect and regional differences. This is one of those words. Both are acceptable.

A flower bouquet is a collection of flowers in a creative arrangement. There are different kinds including nosegay, hand-tied, and cascading bouquets. Flower bouquets are often given for special occasions such as birthdays or anniversaries. They are also used extensively in weddings. Traditionally the bride will choose these flowers.

What colors can I use in my bouquet with wedding colors of Turquoise and Brown?
I need help with putting together my bouquets for my bridesmaids. I already have turquiose flowers, but I need to know what other colors can accent their turquiose and brown attire....
What colors can I use in my bouquet with wedding colors of Turquoise and Brown?
I would keep them flowers very simple. Maybe you could do white with a pale pink or just go with the white. You could use either white or ivory calla lily or maybe a champagne colored rose with the turquiose flowers that you already have - then you can wrap them with brown ribbon/fabric. I think that would make a lovely combination.
Or, maybe you could do something like this and wrap it in brown ribbon/fabric:

Just try to keep it simple. I think that simple is very elegant.
Good luck to you!!! And Congrats! ♥
Reply:first... i was also thinking doing tourquoise for my wedding... what kind of flowers did you get that are tourquoise? are they real?
as far as other flowers... i would recomend white, ivory, or light pink. Daisies would be good as well... just the regular kind (white).
Reply:Yellow would be nice. Or the usual.. white. Orange would be cool too. It depends on if you want the color to pop. I am an artist so I suggesting colors that you wouldnt think of right off the bat. Also a pink would be nice.
Reply:Turquoise %26amp; chocolate is a beautiful combination; since they are strong colors I would go with cream colored callie lillies..
Reply:ask the florist about floral cabbages. theyre a greeny colour with deep purples and browns. They arent actually cabbages by the way.
Reply:I would do white. If you do another colorful flower, it will only take away form the turquoise.
Reply:W
Reply:Yellow sunflowers.
Reply:A very pale pink or ivory would look nice.
Reply:A really bright orange would be nice. Not too much, though, because it is meant as an accent.
Reply:white would be good. Are you talking about real flowers? There are turquoise flowers? Cool!
Reply:WHITE AND A LIL ORANGE OR MAYBE WHITE AND A DARK BLUE OR PURPLE
Reply:Pretty blue forget-me-nots and vibrant deep RED ROSES. I think White would look pretty too..
Reply:white. any other color would be toooo much.
Reply:Pink and white!!
Reply:Add a little burnt orange. It's all the rage right now!
Reply:White, looks good with anything, and is classic.
Perfect semi formal makeup

What is the contents of the crystal powder packet that comes with your cut flower bouquet as a preservative?
I do know that it's suppose to help the plants last longer before dying.

Is $200 a lot for a bride bouquet with 10 mini callas and 8 cymbidium orchids?
seems like it to me
Is $200 a lot for a bride bouquet with 10 mini callas and 8 cymbidium orchids?
NOT A GOOD IDEA TO MAKE YOUR OWN BRIDAL BOUQUET!!! like you need more stress during your wedding! honestly your getting a deal for 200 most florist would charge a lot more. callas are expensive for a little flower usually run 8-9 a piece. Cymbidium orchids travel further and are usually 6-7 dollars a piece add labor greens and filler your getting a deal trust me. Not to mention your helping out your local florist and it will look great on your wedding day instead of worrying about you making it or a family member.
Reply:Sue go to Sam's Club! You can order your flowers, a lot cheaper! Than you can ask them if they would help too make up the bouquet or show you how! 8 orchids should cost over 10 bucks at Sam's!! Everyone does it!! :) check it out!
Reply:Both are expensive flowers, especially the 8 orchids.
